Placed in Apulia, in the middle of the "Tavoliere
Salentino", between two seas, the Adriatic Sea and the
Ionic Sea, both a few
miles away, Azienda Agricola Manes has been
growing grapes for decades with extreme dedication. The vineyards
are mainly producing native
grapes varieties: Negroamaro, Malvasia and Primitivo which
make full bodied wines, with the right alcoholic content and
a unique
bouquet of flavours and colours.
Nowadays, Giuseppe Manes, owner of the winery,
is devoted to the enhancement of this exceptional wine obtained
from excellent quality
grapes through modern wine-making techniques strictly derived from
the oldest traditions of the territory, the Salento.
The wines are made with the utmost care and best practices and
derived from very fertile soils in very favourable climate eviroments.
The favourable exposition and the temperate climate have always
made our lands the ideal place for the production of excellent
wines.
The soil and the sun are the essenzial ingredients for making of
this high quality wine, acknowledged by the D.O.C. and I.G.T. denominations
granted by European Union.
